Shuter Library is an independent, incorporated, and registered 501(c)(3) organization providing free services to our community and the Moreno Valley. Though we operate as a public library, we are a private library whose revenue comes from donations, grants, and volunteer fundraising, rather than from municipal taxes.

Shuter Library of Angel Fire is a wonderful success today thanks to our loyal patrons, volunteers who give thousands of hours of service, and our generous community and local merchants.

Because of this generous support, Shuter Library offers many services to the Village of Angel Fire and the surrounding region. Library card are free and card-holders have access to more than 12,000 print and audio books as well as down-loadable ebooks and audio books.

The library offers the use of six public computers and free WiFi. We also offer affordable photocopying and free scanning. 

​

Gently used books, audio books, puzzles, DVDs, and other media are on sale in the library at all times. And we have two large annual book sales in winter and summer.

​

For children, Shuter Library hosts a popular annual summer reading program as well as story time each Thursday morning. We are also a sign-up location for the Imagination Library, an organization devoted to putting books into the homes of children ages birth through five years old. 

​

Shuter Library hosts monthly adult book club discussions led by members of the community. We also invite local and visiting authors for frequent talks and book signings.
